Amanda Carlson

LCSW, Owner

Amanda graduated with her bachelor’s degree in Psychology at the University of Utah in 2015 then went to Boise State University where she received her Masters of Social Work in 2019.

Amanda has always been passionate about helping others find their way in life. She originally entered the path of nursing in hopes to help those in her community before she soon realized while working as surgical tech, she wanted to provide more. This soon led her towards becoming a LCSW and working within the community on helping others achieve their goals. She has always loved helping those around her and believes that everyone has the chance of discovering their full potential.

Amanda enjoys working with children, families, and adults. She has worked with children from age three and up, helping them navigate their feelings and develop healthier behavioral responses. She feels that families thrive when understanding, validation, and healthy communication take place. Amanda has also had the opportunity to work closely with families to build strong attachments and function together as a unit. In addition, she enjoys helping adults identify their goals and working alongside them to achieve lasting progress.

Aubrey Allen

CSW

Specializes in sports mental health, trauma, autism support for individuals and parents, and family dynamics. Offers in-person and telehealth appointments.

Aubrey Allen graduated with her bachelor’s degree in Social Work from Weber State University in April of 2024. She took time between earning her bachelor’s and pursuing her master’s degree to focus on raising her four boys. During that time, she became deeply involved in her community, helping to start a competitive baseball team in Ogden for low-income families. Through her involvement in coaching, she frequently integrates therapeutic techniques to support players in developing mental strength and emotional regulation, both on and off the field.

Aubrey has always been passionate about empowering individuals and helping them discover their inner resilience. Her path toward becoming a Clinical Social Worker was shaped by her personal and professional experiences, as well as her commitment to fostering growth in others. She believes in the power of connection and creates a safe, supportive space where clients can feel heard and valued.

Aubrey enjoys working with children, adolescents, and adults from diverse backgrounds. She has extensive experience supporting individuals facing challenges such as substance use, depression, anxiety, ADHD, and autism. She utilizes evidence-based approaches, including Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and Interpersonal Therapy (IPT), to help her clients build self-awareness, strengthen relationships, and improve emotional well-being. Aubrey is dedicated to walking alongside her clients as they navigate life’s challenges, offering tools, guidance, and encouragement every step of the way.

Carolina Smith

LCSW

Specializes in children, women’s substance use and recovery, perinatal and postpartum care, and second-generation immigrant women. Offers in-person and telehealth appointments.

Carolina graduated with a bachelor’s degree in Statistics from Brigham Young University in 2018, and went on to earn a Master of Social Work from the University of South Carolina in 2022.

Carolina was originally drawn to statistics and the powerful way in which data can tell a story. Over time, she realized that numbers can only go so far in capturing a narrative. For Carolina, what was missing was the human element of the story. This revelation, coupled with Carolina’s longtime practice of empathy and compassion for all people, led her to pursue clinical social work. Carolina brings together her statistics and social work training to form an approach that is both compassionate and practical.

Carolina is EMDR trained and enjoys working with children, adults, and families. She has worked with adults to address trauma, substance use, peripartum mood disorders, anxiety, and depression. Carolina has experience working with children as young as three, helping to strengthen attachment and supporting them to express themselves in a safe way. In her work with families, Carolina has worked with parents and children who wish to strengthen attachment and to improve communication.

At the heart of Carolina’s practice is a dedication to walking alongside her clients as they work through their challenges. She strives to create a safe and supportive place where clients can feel seen, heard, and empowered to navigate the difficulties of life with confidence.

Jill Dickey

CSW

Jill’s journey toward becoming a therapist began with a passion for child welfare. She did contract work for DCFS, providing parenting education and support to parents experiencing charges of abuse and neglect. There, she developed a passion for helping families learn the skills to have the life and relationships they desired. Later, she provided academic mentoring services to Native American students in grades K-12. Both of these experiences sensitized her to the unique challenges facing marginalized groups.

She decided to return to school in order to enhance her ability to help others. She graduated with her bachelor’s degree in social work from the University of Utah in 2025 and completed her master’s degree there in 2026. Her specialization is in general mental health. She enjoys working with people of all ages. She has experience working with teens engaging in risky sexual behavior, youth involved in the criminal justice system, and their families. She believes that treating others with respect and compassion is therapeutic in and of itself. She believes in the dignity and worth of every person.

She believes everyone has the capacity to create the change they want in their lives and prefers a strengths-based approach to therapy. She is trained in solution-focused therapy, trauma-focused cognitive behavioral therapy, and dialectical behavioral therapy, and has completed level 1 training in Gottman’s couples therapy. She considers it an honor and a privilege to sit with struggling people and be a witness to their suffering and their capacity to overcome life’s challenges.
